DIVE SAFARI IN BORACAY

DIVING IN BORACAY

FAMOUS FOR ITS WHITE SAND BEACHES AND ONCE AWARDED THE TITLE OF “BEST ISLAND IN THE WORLD”, BORACAY IS A FILIPINO TROPICAL PARADISE. DIVING HERE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT AND HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE REEF SHARKS, TUNA AND TREVALLY AS WELL AS PLENTIFUL MACRO LIFE TO SATISFY UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHERS.

QUICK FACTS

This small island, located 315 kilometres/196 miles south of Manila has won more awards than any other in the Philippines. It has received numerous accolades for its beaches and has been voted the best island in the world to visit. Aside from the pristine white sand beaches, Boracay is well known as a destination for relaxation, tranquillity, stunning sunsets and exclusive night life. Boracay is surrounded by crystal clear waters and healthy coral reefs which support a wide range of marine life. If you want to enjoy great diving and completely get away from it all, Boracay is the place to be.

Despite its proximity to Boracay, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Philippines, Buruanga sees very few tourists. This has left the area as a secret hideaway. Various scenic spots such as caves, waterfalls, beaches, hills, and mountain parks are found throughout the area such as the Hinugtan White Beach, Batason (Ariel’s) Point, Langka Beach, Nasog Beach, Tuburan Baybay Beach, Tigis Beach/Falls, and Pagatpat Mangrove Park.

The Maniguin Island Lighthouse is a lighthouse that marks the Cuyo East Passage, a main shipping route south into the Sulu Sea. The island, also known as Maningning Island or Hammerhead Island, is located 42.6 km (26.5 miles) off of the coast of CulasiAntique in the Philippines. It has a narrow ridge 33.5 metres (110 feet) high across its southern end, and the remainder of the island is low and wooded, and not more than 4.5 metres (15 feet) high. It is fringed with coral reefs with deep water at their edges. The round cylindrical concrete tower with a gallery on top is located near the southeastern point of the island.
